About Me
Kayleigh Williams is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in vascular and cardiothoracic surgery. She received her master’s in physician assistant studies from Methodist University, and bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Before becoming a PA and joining the WakeMed team, Williams spent over a decade working as a paramedic, providing advanced patient care.
Williams believes in a patient-centered approach that requires seeking to understand each patient's unique perspective, meeting them where they are at, and providing effective communication to ensure the highest quality of care. Outside of work, Williams enjoys drinking coffee, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog.
