Dr. Winberry is always very patient, friendly, and kind. He is knowledgeable and provides information in a way that ensures everyone understands the situation and plan. We always feel comfortable and confident that he addressing the whole child and cares what my son is thinking.
Every visit with Dr. Winberry is excellent. He has a wonderful bedside manner & truly cares for his patients. It saddens me that my daughter will not be able to continue with him much longer due to her age.

We count ourselves lucky to have him as [NAME]’s Gastroenterologist.
Dr. Winbury has drastically improved my child’s quality of life. We have seen GIs all over the country, been inpatient for months at a time, with the same elusive issues for 15 years. No one was able to provide a remedy until the same severe symptoms were witnessed by inpatient staff at Wakemed who consulted Dr. Winbury. The knowledge and most importantly, experience with atypical cases allows him to quickly provide remedies that have improved our quality of life tenfold.

Our daughter saw Dr. Winberry for an in person visit and procedure. The whole time we were at ease that we were in good hands with a knowledgeable Doctor. We were educated and informed and felt like Dr. Winberry took his time answering our questions and addressing our concerns. It was a great service , a lot of explanations . Excellent appointment.
Dr. Winberry was patient to listen to my son's struggles with eating. He offered even more ideas for how to help my son eat and gain weight. He genuinely cares about his patients and tried to reassure my son that other people struggle with anxiety and eating as well. We left the appointment feeling more positive and feeling like we have more ideas for moving forward.
Dr. Windberry is great! His bedside manner with my anxious child was spot on. He did great explaining everything. His read up on my childs rare syndrome and her full medical history ahead of time. He is also super knowledge about the gastro community including research, doctors, etc

I really can't say enough good about Dr. Winberry. He asked my son a lot of questions. Listened intensely to everything we both said. He was very enlightening in his discussion with us about what is going on with [NAME] and medically informative about how we can best tackle the issues and get him better. Most importantly, he explained things to [NAME] in a way that gave him (and me) some relief that he can overcome these issues and get back to being the happy [] year old that he was not too long ago.
