About Me

Anna McCormick is a pediatric nurse practitioner who provides care and education to patients and families about procedures, recovery and disease management. She began her medical career as a registered nurse, serving in numerous roles in pediatrics and pediatric oncology.

McCormick also cares for patients in the Pediatric Behavioral Health clinic because of the unique overlap between disorder of gut brain interaction and mental health. She is a certified Pediatric Mental Health specialist.

Anna’s demeanor with patient. Talked to her mostly, tried her with respect and have her a fight toy which was super helpful. Appreciate how she had my daughter tell her what’s being going on, why she came in. Kind, personable, hopeful, talked about guy and brain.

Anna McCormick has always been wonderful with my daughter. She is always engaging with her and comes in with sensory toys for her. She always shows interests in what ever my daughter this time was her phone and games. She came up with a game plan to help her. She’s amazing and really care for her patients!

Ms. McCormick did an excellent job taking her time listening to both [NAME] and myself. She was very thorough, despite having read through several months of medical records prior to entering the room. She didn't seem to have any preconceived notions, but was rather interested in hearing us out. Compared to other pediatric GI doctors we have seen, Ms. McCormick truly stands out.
