I know how busy Dr. Becker is as it took me a year to get an appointment that was kept (office cancelled three prior appointments.) .Dr. Becker was rated best woman urologist by my prior primary care physician, Dr. [], on her last day of work before retiring []. The provision of drug samples so I could start immediate intake was very helpful. I already felt better the first day. Overall, really good experience.

Dr. Becker was attentive, caring and spent the time to make sure I understood my test results and addressed my concerns about another issue that had recently developed. I was very pleased with how my office visit.
Dr Becker came into the exam room having read ALL of my chart here in Raleigh, including records from my primary care doctor, Duke doctors, and my doctors in Ohio. This was a first! Usually I have to spend time recanting my history and explaining things that are in my charts that docs have access to but don’t spend the time to read or investigate.

Poor Dr. Becker was extremely busy the day I was there. She took excellent care of me except I don't remember her mentioning that I was getting a prescription, so I was surprised when I read it in her visit notes. She left the room a little abruptly. I wasn't sure if she was coming back after she left. But then the nurse came in to take me to check out. This did not affect her complete attention to my problem. She was very thorough except for not mentioning my prescription. I did like her. I would definitely recommend her.

They worked me in to be seen by Dr Becket that day for pain. Dr Becker didn’t have any availability in the OR that week, so prior to my appointment, she made arrangements for a coworker to do my surgery and asked him to come in & meet me after the appointment.

One thing stood out, the Nurse Practitioner came in to talk to my wife and I. She explained everything about kidney stones to prepare us to see Dr Becker. It was a very streamlined process. The overall teamwork of the department was very good. The patient flow seemed to work well, but not very fast. I suspect that there aren't enough urologist on the WakeMed Team.

While I was in the waiting room, I observed a team member, whom I determined was Jessica [ ], interact with an elderly male patient, who, I believe, was trying to determine whether to follow his urologist to another WakeMed Urology office or remain a patient at the North Raleigh location. Ms. [ ] was unfailingly kind and patient as she answered the man’s many questions and assured him about his care. The kindness she exhibited brought tears to my eyes. Well done.
