The one thing that was outstanding was the young lady that took my temperature, blood pressure, etc. Ordinarily, my blood pressure is taken multiple times after my initial entrance, however, this young lady (I wish I could remember her name), was calm, patient as well as personable and professional. She should be commended on her calming, professional demeanor !
I’m very happy that I found Dr. Dominick Trapani to be my PCP doctor since I relocated to the Wake Forest area two years ago. He is a very friendly and caring doctor who always seems genuinely interested in my health and medical care. My husband is a patient of Dr. Trapani, too. Dr. Trapani and his staff were absolutely wonderful. I initially scheduled in-person but in recognizing the appointment could very well be virtual, Dr. Trapani had his staff change the appointment. I recently changed employment and so my insurance changed thus all the medication had to be updated. My anxiety was put to rest due to the expeditious manner in which all of the pre-authorizations were handled and how quickly the other medications were sent to the pharmacy. Dr. Trapani has kept me healthy and my stress level at a minimum
The complete experience was excellent. Great medical providers and care can be difficult to obtain. Not so at Wake Med and with Dr Trapani. Thanks for the hard work I know the team must perform to deliver.

Dr Trapani referred us to a fastr I enterilist, a wound doctor and an oncologist. We have made appts . With each. He also referred us to home health specialists and we met with the admin . Nurse, the PT and have a meeting tomorrow with the Social Worker assigned to him.

Yes, Dr. Trapani really took his time with me & he listened to my worries about all the medical conditions I am dealing with He offered to refill a medication that is very important for me & for which I would have had a very long wait to see another doctor. Therefore, he saved me a lot of concern & worry about running out of this important medicine. When I returned to see him a second time, I was in great pain from my [ ] & Dr. Trapani gave me a prescription I really needed instead of telling me to go see my rheumatologist who is always booked solid. Yes, Dr. Trapani knew that I wasn’t making up my pain just to get [Rx]. Other Drs. I’ve been to refuse to give me [Rx] even though it’s the only medication that helps when I’m having a horrible flare of [ ]. They tell me it’s too dangerous. All I ask for is a short term Rx. But Dr. Trapani really listened to me & he could see I couldn’t walk, so he wrote me an Rx for [RX] for 9 days & it was a tapering Rx. So by the 9th day I’ll be taking a low dose so I should be able to go off of it. I’m already feeling better & I can walk again. So I really appreciate Dr. Trapani for seeing & believing me & not just brushing me off by saying, “It’s too dangerous.” Thank you, Dr. Trapani.
