Cold and Flu Season Can Be a Monster

Flu & Cold Season Can Be A Monster

Help us protect our patients, families and staff from RSV and the flu by following these visitation restrictions currently in effect.

  • No visitors under the age of 12 are allowed in patient care areas.
  • Please do not visit patients if you are experiencing fever, vomiting, diarrhea or cold or flu-like symptoms.

Our Care Team

At WakeMed Urgent Care, our team is comprised of licensed professionals in all areas of patient care. We are serious about quality care and want to ensure our patients receive attention from experts in their fields, starting with all board certified physicians and certified physician assistants.

The nursing and radiologic staff consists of only licensed professionals, as well - registered nurses (RN) and registered technologists (RT). When you see these credentials, you know that the individual is a trained health care professional and competent to perform the exams and administer the care you need. More than words on a piece of paper, these certifications are a hallmark of quality in the medical profession.

Our front desk and administrative team members make sure your experience is positive from start to finish, efficiently processing your documents and answering any questions you may have about the process before, during and after your visit.
