Help us protect our patients, families and staff from RSV and the flu by following these visitation restrictions currently in effect.
For urgent issues after hours, you can call your WakeMed Physician Practices – Primary Care office (or our operators at 919-350-8000) and our on-call providers are available to offer advice. They are not able to prescribe or refill medications after hours.
If you need medical assistance outside of regular office hours, we invite you to visit our partners at WakeMed Urgent Care. They provide the highest level of urgent care services, staffed by physicians who are board-certified in either internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine or pediatrics.
If you have a question for your physician, contact WakeMed OneCall operator at 919-350-8000 and they will connect you to the primary care physician on call.

Wait times coming soon!
Our estimated wait times are based on a two-hour average and are updated every 30 minutes. Estimated wait times reflect the time from check-in to care being initiated by a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Since no two people, and no two injuries or illnesses, are alike, your wait time may be longer or shorter.
**Reserve Your Spot assigns you a time slot (based on availability) and reserves your space in line. It does not guarantee you will be seen at this exact time due to patient volume and the varying urgency of medical needs.
When the unexpected strikes, WakeMed Urgent Care is here to help with exceptional, compassionate care.
WakeMed Urgent Care has been serving the Triangle area for more than a decade, offering a broad range of medical services for adults and children age 4 months and older. Walk-ins are always welcome, but you can also get estimated wait times or reserve a spot online.
Our goal is to accommodate you as quickly and conveniently as possible.
WakeMed Urgent Care should not be used as an alternative to emergency medical treatment.
