Pamela Borden is a certified nurse midwife, neonatal resuscitation skills instructor and a board-certified lactation consultant with more than 30 years of nursing experience. Pam became a midwife because she has a passion for giving women the information they need to make their own decisions to guide their care and birth experiences.
Pam provides the full scope of midwifery care, including annual physical exams; preconception counseling; antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care; and assistance with cesarean sections. She is also a resource and advocate for breastfeeding and decreased interventions in childbirth.
Throughout her career, Pam has held a variety of nurse leadership positions and is recognized for her calm, thoughtful presence as well as her ability to adapt to change and problem solve. Pam loves her family time and has a special interest in global health, traveling to Africa and Haiti for medical missions.
