Flu is prevalent in our community right now. Visit our Flu Resource Center to learn about flu prevention, signs and symptoms, and help us protect our patients, families and staff from RSV and the flu by following these visitation restrictions.

  • No visitors under the age of 12 are allowed in patient care areas.
  • Please do not visit patients if you are experiencing fever, vomiting, diarrhea or cold or flu-like symptoms.

Nutrition & Weight Management for Adults

Losing, gaining, or maintaining weight can be difficult, but it is possible to reach your goal weight and maintain your success.

WakeMed outpatient dietitians specialize in developing customized plans that incorporate your preferences, eating habits, lifestyle, medical history and even medications.

Starting with your current nutrition knowledge, dietitians identify potential problem areas and opportunities. Then, through motivational interviewing, dietitians assess an individual’s readiness to change, helping determine the most effective way to meet short and long term goals.

Success can be achieved through one-on-one counseling with a licensed, registered dietitian to help you meet individual needs. You too can achieve and maintain a healthy weight!

Convenient Appointments

WakeMed Outpatient Dietitians offer convenient appointments to fit your schedule with office hours from 8 am to 4 pm.
