New Employee Orientation
Your first day! To ensure a smooth transition, all employees must attend new employee orientation which is held on the WakeMed Raleigh Campus.

8 am to 3 pm
Please plan to arrive by 7:45 so that you can get settled and meet with any necessary departments.
- Supplemental employees will be released around 2:30 pm
Parking
Please park in the Visitor Parking (P1-Green). You can reference the maps and directions or download the All Access App and get turn-by-turn/step-by-step directions. Please do not park in Patient Parking decks P3 or P4 for orientation.
Things to know
- If not already submitted, please bring copies of your immunization records that we can keep.
- Professional attire is expected at WakeMed, including on orientation day. (Jeans, shorts, crop tops, flip flops, etc. are not acceptable.)
- Clinical staff may wear scrubs. Scrubs should be solid red, black or gray (solid white is not allowed) or a professional-looking, printed combination of red, black, gray and white. If you have questions about your department specific attire, please speak with your supervisor.
- Lunch will be provided.
WakeMed All Access App - Find Your Way
You can download our All Access App and get turn-by-turn/step-by-step directions. Once you open the App, tap on the three lines in the top left corner and scroll down to find the Resources for New Employees Section.
(Hint: You can also click on the green “Find it” button and type in your destination.)
Once you arrive in the parking deck using the App, don’t forget to save your parking spot so you can easily navigate back to your car.
