Biography

Myra Nario is a certified physician assistant with expertise in pulmonary diseases, critical care and sleep medicine caring for patients in Raleigh and Cary, NC. Her clinical interests include the treatment of chronic and acute pulmonary diseases and palliative care.  Myra has worked in healthcare since 2005, starting first as a pharmacy technician and a certified nurse assistant before pursuing her master’s degree in clinical medical science and her Physician Assistant certificate. Before joining WakeMed, Myra worked at Duke University Hospital, Pinehurst Medical Clinical and UNC Rex Healthcare. She believes compassion, trust, understanding and education are essential to providing exceptional patient care. In her free time, Myra enjoys gardening, walking her dog, trying new foods and enjoying time with friends and family.
