Dr. Mark Henin is a Pediatric Endocrinologist with clinical interests in diabetes, growth, delayed/early puberty and the thyroid.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Henin completed a residency in pediatrics, while working as a pediatric attending physician with the Carolinas Healthcare System: Charlotte Metro Region. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Dr. Henin was instrumental in conducting several research studies while completing his fellowship. He shared his knowledge on this research and a variety of other endocrine topics at conferences throughout North Carolina, and in published articles. He has been recognized for his hard work and dedication by receiving several awards throughout his career.

When treating patients, Dr. Henin strives to strive to engage and work with families to develop a treatment plan customized to their child’s unique needs.

In his free time, Dr. Henin enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter, traveling to experience a variety of cultures and foods, lounging on the beach, barbecuing, and routing for the Carolina Panthers.
