About Me
Maria Keever is a certified genetic counselor with experience in both prenatal and cancer genetic counseling. She is passionate about providing parents with the knowledge to make informed decisions regarding pregnancy testing and diagnostic options. In particular, she strives to incorporate emerging genetic knowledge and recent technological advances to offer exemplary patient care.
Before joining WakeMed's Maternal Fetal Medicine practice, she was the sole genetic counselor at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune providing counseling services for military families.
Keever enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying out local restaurants, and playing team sports.
