Dr. Katherine Bishop is an OB/GYN physician with clinical interests in low- and high-risk obstetrics, contraception management, minimally-invasive surgery, managing cervical dysplasia and menopause. She earned her medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

Dr. Bishop empowers her patients to take charge of their own health by being active participants in their care. She enjoys listening to patients’ needs and concerns, and giving them the information they need to make the best decisions about their health.

In her free time, Dr. Bishop likes staying active and exercising, cooking vegetarian food and baking, traveling and reading.

I have felt very well taken care of by all the nurses and doctors at this practice. I think the most notable thing is although there are many midwives, nurses and doctors who rotate I am beginning to build a relationship with each one, and also feel like they communicate well with each other so my care feels very uniform.
