Dr. Jennifer Vick joined WakeMed Physician Practices - Pediatrics as a pediatric hospitalist after completing both a research and a clinical fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, N.C. She has also served as an assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology & Hypertension at the UNC School of Medicine, a pediatrics instructor at Wake Forest University (WFU) Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., and a pediatric hospitalist at Lexington Memorial Hospital in Lexington, N.C.
After earning her medical degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine (formerly Medical College of Virginia) in Richmond, Va., Dr. Vick completed her pediatric residency at the WFU Baptist Medical Center. She holds a bachelor's degree in science from Elon University (formerly Elon College) in Elon, N.C. and a certificate in physiology from the VCU School of Medicine.
Dr. Vick is board certified in general pediatrics and board certified pediatric nephrology. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
