.Jason Ho is a pediatric cardiologist with clinical interests in pediatric electrophysiology including supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) and Wolff-Parkinson White (WPW), channelopathies and cardiomyopathies including familial screening, and autonomic dysfunction.
After graduating from medical school in 2005, Dr. Ho remained in Greenville, NC at the Brody School of Medicine to complete a residency in pediatrics. After that, he completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Indiana University, serving as chief fellow during this time. He then completed a senior fellowship in pediatric electrophysiology at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Ho then took a position as an assistant professor in pediatric cardiology and electrophysiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, FL. In addition to teaching, he has published several articles and a textbook chapter. He remained in Florida until Summer 2018, when he joined WakeMed Physician Practices – Pediatric Cardiology.
Dr. Ho brings a unique perspective to pediatric cardiology as his oldest child was born with a congenital heart defect and underwent surgery at 5 months of age. This experience allows Dr. Ho to relate to patients and their families on both a professional and personal level.
Dr. Ho is married and has four children. He enjoys running and has participated in several half and full marathons.
