Am I a Candidate for Orbera, ESG or Spatz3?

Each of these non-surgical weight loss procedures are generally designed for patients who fit the following:

  • A body mass index (BMI) of 30 to 40
  • Previously tried to lose weight without long-term success

Is Orbera Right for Me?

An FDA-approved balloon system placed by a gastroenterologist that facilitates weight loss by taking up space in the stomach.

The silicon, saline-filled Orbera balloon remains in the stomach for six months, and is then completely removed by a gastroenterologist.

Is ESG Right for Me?

Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG) is a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure (with no incisions), allowing a gastroenterologist to permanently reduce the size of your stomach to promote weight loss. It’s a one-time procedure that takes 10-15 minutes.

Spatz3

A fully reversible weight loss option, Spatz3 is the first and only FDA-approved adjustable balloon that facilitates weight loss by temporarily taking up space in the stomach.

Placed by a gastroenterologist and obesity medicine physician, the silicone, saline-filled balloon remains in the stomach for eight months and can be adjusted up or down as needed to either eliminate discomfort or to promote further weight loss.
