In-Kind Donations
How you can help?
WakeMed welcomes your help in keeping patients and their families as comfortable as possible during their hospitalization. The following is a list of items that are always needed. These items are used to make the stay of a patient less stressful and more comforting. Thank you for your support.
Things to Consider Before Donating
- All items donated must be new.
- We cannot accept: food items, used stuffed animals or religious affiliated material or items with religious references/messages and items with advertisement.
- Items may not be placed in paper bags, Ziploc bags or wrapped in ribbon.
- All donations should be approved and pre-arranged.

Dropping Off Your Donation:
Donations can be delivered to Volunteer Services Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

Holiday donations are accepted at designated times and locations. Holiday donation drop off dates and times are posted in November on this web page.
Special Visitors
In December, Special Visitors will not be scheduled during the week prior to December 25th in order to prepare for holiday events on the unit.
