Flu is prevalent in our community right now. Visit our Flu Resource Center to learn about flu prevention, signs and symptoms, and help us protect our patients, families and staff from RSV and the flu by following these visitation restrictions.

  • No visitors under the age of 12 are allowed in patient care areas.
  • Please do not visit patients if you are experiencing fever, vomiting, diarrhea or cold or flu-like symptoms.

Each person and each loss is very individual, and grief is a natural and normal process following the death of a loved one. We recognize that the experience is painful and at times lonely.

WakeMed Grief Support Group

WakeMed offers a free, six-week Grief Support Group for adults who have recently lost an adult loved one. It's a safe, supportive space for exploring grief – where you can share your story, learn more about the grief process and cope with your loss in a way that encourages hope and healing.
