Dr. Stephenie Manns is a pulmonologist and critical care medicine physician with clinical interests in caring for patients with complex lung diseases including interstitial lung diseases, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, as well as COPD and asthma.

She began her medical career in 2006, and has since worked as a hospital-based physician in Chicago and Philadelphia. She joins WakeMed most recently from The Intensivist Group, an affiliate of Mercy Fitzgerald and Mercy Philadelphia Hospitals in Philadelphia where she spent several years caring for critically-ill patients in the hospital. Dr. Manns believes in a patient-centered approach to her pulmonary and critical care practice as she enjoys building relationships with her patients, interacting with them and their families.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Manns enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, and being outdoors.
