The fact that the doctor was not dismissing my concerns and explained exactly what my problem was in layman's terms.
I like seeing my doctor but last year couldn’t due contract issues with United Healthcare. When WakeMed came back in network I returned to my doctor.
Dr Payne is good with me! He is keeping me on track with my medical issue.

Dr did all blood tests I asked him to. I was just surprised no ekg. All my drs in my did them as a check up visit. And I had to ask to have my throat looked at just precaution for myself. Otherwise I like him very much I already recommended him to my chiropractor
The receptionist, and the technician, and the lady that drew blood, and of course Dr Payne were all excellent.
Every one was "super " nice and we were treated with dignity and respect. Dr. Payne was very easy to talk to and he explained everything in such a way that we old folks could understand all that he was telling us..on a scale of 1 to 10 your entire staff gets a "25"! from my wife and I.

I don’t have to wait for more than 5 minutes and my entire appointment takes no more than 30 minutes. The nurse taking blood at the time was the best nurse I have worked with there. I am quick to get anxious but with her care it was over quick and no fainting!

Went to see Dr. Payne to renew a prescription. Wanted a one on one visit as I had additional questions about a current refill needed and new refill for an older prescription he didn’t prescribe (coughing “pearls” which my previous provider prescribed). Also went over my blood work I had performed with the new endocrinologist. He listens to all of my concerns and answers my questions so I understand any and all interactions.
