Attention to detail and that my condition was critical. The Doctor made no reservation as to level of treatment needed immediately.
In my opinion, both the office and the medical staffs endeavour to provide attentive and compleat patient care. I have not encountered issues or shortcomings in the care provided. I do not feel part of an "assembly line" process that appears overly concerned with volumn of care rather than complete quality of care.

I do love Dr. MacPhearson and Stella so I guess you could say I’m prejudiced towards the office. I do like belonging to the Wake Med system. It is very reassuring to know that my doctors actually coordinate my health care.
Compassion and care
All of the staff are excellent from check-in, vitals, doctor, and check out.
The fact that I didn't have to wait long in either the reception area or the exam room. That shows to me that they value my time as I do theirs.
Dr. Macphersons medical assistant was phenomenal! She was so kind and explained every thing. She spent time to talk and get to know me during the rooming process. Above and beyond care!

The portal for the Tele-health visit was super easy. I was able to log in very quickly. The doctor listened to everything I said and promptly explained how we could proceed with treatment which I agreed on. -Very positive experience.

Dr. MacPherson was very understanding about my concerns having tested []. He was making the required medical exam prior to prescribing [Rx] for me. I was pleased that WakeMed could respond quickly to make the assessment, so I could get started on [Rx] if it was appropriate. Dr. MacP reviewed my medications, asked questions and explaine that there are 2 dosages of [Rx] and I would get the lower dose due to my current conditions and medications. He interacted with me very calmly and took the time I needed to understand the situation, the meds, etc. His was the first "virtual exam" I have had with WakeMed; I was very satisfied with the exam. First time visit, smooth check in process, facility very clean, nurse was caring, Dr. MacPherson very thorough, caring and patient, check out process and follow up appointment schedule went smoothly. Overall very pleasant experience!
My visit was outstanding. The process to make a same day appointment is not. Wake Med chart states that if you would like to make a same day appt you should call on the phone. I did that and NOBODY ever called me back. I waited almost a week then went and made my own next day appt through the chart.
I believe Dr. MacPherson has my medical interests and well being at the highest level and I am totally comfortable with him as my Primary. Both he and WakeMed have been outstanding in my care.
