4/20/2023 Dr. Chapelle performed on my left shoulder, I came in for an evaluated and opinion and realized after giving the PA my shoulder history that replacement rather than another extended PT program was probably the likely outcome. Dr C went over all the options and the concerns about waiting until the joint totally failed. He was informative and not “pushy” for replacement. Common sense said do it. Laura, his assistant did an outstanding job rescheduling me. He was also very thorough during the pre op session the day of the surgery and gave my wife all the info she needed in post op. I am 7 weeks into it and my WakeMed PT lady says that I am further along in my rehab than anyone she has treated or assisted in her 30 years of being a PT. Dr. C gets a lot of credit as does my PT team and my dedication to doing my PT. His only fault is being a UNC fan….but I still went with him.

4/18/2023 Dr.Chappell explained and showed me the X-ray that was taken in clear terms. Gave me his honest opinions , suggestions and options in which I appreciated very much.

4/17/2023 I had what I thought was going to be a difficult surgery. It was a breeze. Absolutely NO PAIN! After 45 days, I'm just about as good as new!

4/13/2023 I found dr. Chapelle, very engaging in thorough answering my questions. I just didn’t have all the questions that I needed answered at my finger, tips so I need to contact him again either via my chart or another office visit for answers to additional questions.
