The visit went very smooth. Dr. Blackburn and his entire team including the front desk and all staff were competent and professional. They work well together.
Dr. Blackburn's nurse (name escapes me) was so personable and funny. She immediately put me at ease as I have white coat syndrome. Dr. Blackburn is professional, friendly and engaging.
Dr. Jeffery Blackburn is not only an excellent cardiologist, he makes scheduled appointments that are so very convenient since he comes to the Garner Wake Med facility. He makes these visits painless and without excessive stress. The lady (did not ask her name) who met with me first is really excellent at what she does. She is a great ambassador for both Dr. Blackburn and Wake Med. Hopefully, she is being recognized and rewarded for how comfortable she make me (as a patient) feel. Ordinally, I do not especially like going to doctor appointments, but she makes this time with me a pleasure. Please thank her for what (and how) she does it. and she cares about the patients.

Although the computer was down while Dr Blackburn was trying to work with me, he did have the staff follow up and make sure everything was handled for my next visit and the prescription was sent to the pharmacy.

I have seen Dr Blackburn for a couple of years and feel I always get excellent care. This was my first visit to the Garner location. All the support staff were very nice and friendly (as at the Six Forks office in previous years). Everything about this visit was wonderful and has been one of my most positive medical appointments of the year!!
