Dr. Reddy is a gastroenterologist and board-certified in internal medicine. Her clinical interests are in women's GI issues, inflammatory bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and motility disorders.
She believes that the gastroenterology health of women is unique and is affected by hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy and childbirth. She has focused her research on women's issues in relation to the GI tract and has published multiple articles in national and international journals in this area. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society.
Prior to her fellowship, Dr. Reddy served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit. She completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Florida in Gainesville and her residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Elmhurst. She earned her MS in clinical research from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in India.
