About Me
Dr. Esper is an OB-GYN with clinical interests in high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecology and gynecologic dermatology.
After graduating in 2002, Dr. Esper began her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where she was presented with the Tar Heel Resident Teaching Award two years in a row. During her chief year, she received the House Staff Office of the Year.
Dr. Esper has served as the clinical assistant professor at WakeMed since 2006, and is also the WakeMed residency site director. Dr. Esper has held many leadership positions and is currently the OB Quality Improvement chair. In addition, she has conducted research in a variety of areas related to women and pregnancy.
In treating patients, Dr. Esper believes patient care should be individualized with a focus on treating each patient as a whole.
In her free time, Dr. Esper interests include cooking, dancing, gold and exercising.
