Biography

Dr. Sasha Avery joined WakeMed Physician Practices - Primary Care -Garner after completing an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Avery earned her medical and undergraduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her clinical interests include chronic disease management in adults, pediatric and adolescent outpatient care, as well as caring for patients with congenital disabilities, such cerebral palsy and long term effects of prematurity. Dr. Avery is a mother who enjoys spending time with her family as well as camping and other outdoor activities.
