Flu is prevalent in our community right now. Visit our Flu Resource Center to learn about flu prevention, signs and symptoms, and help us protect our patients, families and staff from RSV and the flu by following these visitation restrictions.

  • No visitors under the age of 12 are allowed in patient care areas.
  • Please do not visit patients if you are experiencing fever, vomiting, diarrhea or cold or flu-like symptoms.

Could You Be At-Risk for Developing Type 2 Diabetes?

Diabetes is a serious disease that can lead to blindness, heart disease, strokes, kidney failure, and loss of a limb.  You are at greater risk for developing diabetes if you are age 45 or older, are overweight, have high blood pressure or have a family history of diabetes.  Diabetes is also more common in African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, Asian Americans, and Pacific Islanders. 

To assess your risk for having diabetes, take the  American Diabetes Association Risk Test.

If you are experiencing any of the following, you may wish to consult your physician.  They are symptoms of diabetes.

  • Excessive thirst or hunger
  • Frequent urination
  • Feeling very tired or weak
  • Experiencing blurred vision
  • Noticing changes in weight
  • Headaches
