Our top priority is to protect the health and wellbeing of our patients, their families and our staff who are working on the frontlines. While we recognize the important role that visits from loved ones play in the healing process, we must have visitation restrictions in order to protect lives. Learn more.

What is the Community Campaign?

Each year, our community shows its unwavering support for WakeMed through their generous contributions to the WakeMed Foundation Community Campaign. During that time, Foundation board members and community volunteers solicit donations and sponsorships from existing and prospective donors. Campaign meetings are hosted monthly for the volunteers to report on fundraising progress, hear a story of impact, and learn about an area of the hospital that has benefited from philanthropic support.

How Are Donations Used?

One hundred percent of donated dollars go directly to fund programs and services to support patient care in all areas of the hospital. From creating healing environments, providing innovative programs, investing in skilled and compassionate caregivers, to supporting the urgent needs of our patients and families, donations truly help save and transform lives.

Upcoming Impact Meetings

Join us for an upcoming Impact meeting to learn more about how philanthropic dollars affect patient care and our community. For more information about these meetings, contact Ashley Stallings at astallings@wakemed.org.
