Free parking is available in the P1 Green Visitor Deck.  Take the sky bridge to the main lobby to access the courtyard.

You and your family are invited to join us for the annual Love Light Tree – our special tree-lighting ceremony. Lights and Stars on the Love Light Tree represent donations in honor or in memory of loved ones.

Following the tree lighting, we’ll join Twinkle, WakeMed Children’s mascot, for Trim the Tree with Twinkle. It’s a festive evening of singing, holiday goodies, ornament making and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Help bring holiday cheer to pediatric patients by decorating a tree that will be on display in the WakeMed Children’s Hospital.

With a gift of a light or star, you can help make a difference for the patients served at WakeMed Children’s.

Visit wakemedfoundation.org for more information or call the WakeMed Foundation at 919-350-7656.

About Love Light
The Love Light Tree tradition began in 1985 with the generosity of Dr. Bill and Coleen Lee, who donated the first Love Light Tree to the WakeMed Raleigh Campus in memory of their son, Matthew William Lee (March 5, 1979 – November 26, 1984). Today, the tradition continues throughout the year as Love Light Tree donations are made in honor or memory of someone special. Each year, the tree is lit by one of WakeMed’s former pediatric patients.
