This recipe is intended for patients who have successfully completed the Full Liquid phase and are in the Pureed phase.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 28-ounce can of whole, peeled tomatoes
  • 1 cup plain, low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin seed
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh basil
  • 2 scoops Unjury unflavored protein powder

 

DIRECTIONS

  • Puree tomatoes in a food processor or blender until smooth.
  • Using a fine mesh strainer, strain over a bowl getting as much liquid as possible.
  • Discard seeds and anything left in the strainer.
  • Pour mixture back into food processor or blender.
  • Add yogurt, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, and 1 cup of basil.
  • Puree until smooth.
  • For garnish, add mince remaining 1/2 cup of basil and sprinkle on each individual serving.
