She gave me options about what we can try first and what we can do if first option wasn't effective. She gave me a timeline for first and second options. Overall I felt we were collaborating on my care not just being told what to do.

Dr Ngongang is a jewel! She’s my soon to be 90 year old mother cardiologist. Dr Ngongang always takes time with my mother to talk about her health and offer tips whether it’s cooking or exercise. She’s not only my mothers Dr, we consider her our friend. The receptionist and attending staff are always pleasant and willing to assist.
The Medical Assistant was conscientious. She was concerned with my slow heartbeat. Although I explained that this is typical, she checked with the RN. She seemed to be new to the job. I was impressed that she was concerned.

The amount of time spent with me was exceptional. We moved to this area last summer from the Charlotte area and I am extremely impressed by the way all of my visits to Wake Med doctors have not been rushed through. It’s definitely a better experience than I was used to at Atrium.
