Heart Center Cardiovascular Inpatient Unit

WakeMed is looking for nurses to join our Heart Center Cardiovasular Inpatient Unit. Experience: 2-3 years of nursing — Cardiac or related area required or Clinical — Critical Care (ICU/CCU) preferred. 

Pandemic Response — Critical Care Nursing 

As we respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, WakeMed is seeking both an experienced nurse manager and clinical nurses to care for this unique patient population. Nurses with experience in med/surg, telemetry, ICU, ED are needed to join our critical care team. At WakeMed, the safety of our clinicians, staff and patients is our top priority. Our patients receive evidence-based care using the latest clinical guidance and all staff are supplied with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) needed to care for our patients while ensuring their safety. Cardiovascular Specialist

WakeMed is looking for Cardiovascular Specialists to join our staff at Cary Hospital and the Heart Center at Raleigh Campus. Cardiovascular Specialists assist physicians in performing a variety of invasive cardiac, electrophysiology and vascular procedures. Home Health

WakeMed's Home Health provides compassionate and specialized care.  We are currently recruiting experienced nurses and physical therapists to join our talented team and we are offering generous incentives of up to $15,000 with 12,18 and 24-month contract options if you start by December 31.

To qualify, the applicant must:

  • Have a minimum of one year Home Health RN or PT experience as applicable
  • Sign a commitment to work for the agreed upon time-frame
  • Begin employment no later than December 31, 2021

Surgical Services & Operating Room Nursing

WakeMed is looking for experienced nurses and clinical staff to join our outstanding Raleigh Campus surgical services team. Our OR nurses work with a professional staff and surgeons who are invested in a culture of safety.

Our busy operating rooms provide a comprehensive range of surgical services, from complex endovascular and minimally invasive surgery to a myriad of specialty services, including: orthopaedics, cardiac and vascular, urology, neurosurgery, gynecology, plastics, maxillofacial, ENT and more.

WakeMed's critical care and emergency services nurses are focused on providing compassionate and specialized care for our most critically ill patients.  We are currently recruiting experienced nurses for a number of positions in emergency services as well as several critical care and intensive care units, including cardiac intensive care, neuro intensive care, pediatric intensive care, medical intensive care and more.
