Broiled Tilapia with Parmesan Cheese

This recipe is intended for patients who have successfully completed the Pureed phase and are in the Soft Solid stage.


  • (4) 4 oz Tilapia fillets
  • 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp light mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill weed
  • dash of sea salt



  • place tilapia fillets on a broiling pan
  • sprinkle with 1/2 of the dill weed and a dash of salt
  • place on the top rack of oven and broil for 2-3 minutes
  • while the fish is broiling, mix the rest of the ingredients, including the rest of the dill
  • remove the tilapia from oven and spread with the parmesan mixture
  • place the fish back under broiler for 2-3 minutes.

If using frozen Tilapia filets, you may bake the fish according to package directions first and then add coating and broil. You may also coat the fish and bake according to package directions.

Asparagus side may not yet be appropriate at this stage of the diet.
