About Me
Brandy Baugh is a certified family nurse practitioner with clinical interests in cardiovascular disease in women, arrhythmias and heart failure. Baugh obtained her nurse practitioner degree at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina and completed her bachelor's degree in biology and later nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After her honorable discharge from the United States Army and earning her nursing degree, Baugh joined WakeMed as a nurse and is now joining us once again as a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner.
When caring for patients, Baugh believes in collaboration and a team approach to accomplishing shared goals and optimizing outcomes. Baugh also believes in including patients and their care givers as valued members of the team. Outside of work, Baugh enjoys spending time with her husband and children, cooking, gardening and being outdoors.
