New practice at WakeMed North provides urgent orthopaedic care

RALEIGH, N.C. (December 18, 2017) – Today, Wake Orthopaedics’ new urgent care practice – dedicated exclusively to acute orthopaedic injuries – opened for patient care. A member of the WakeMed Physician Practices network, Wake Orthopaedics Urgent Care offers same-day, walk-in visits and extended hours with no appointment needed.

The practice is located in the Physician Office Pavilion at WakeMed North, just off I-540 on the corner of Falls of Neuse and Durant Roads.

Wake Orthopaedics Urgent Care provides an affordable, efficient alternative to the emergency department for orthopedic care, even at the most inconvenient times. The practice offers high-quality care for adults and children with:

  • Sports injuries
  • Sprains, strains & dislocations
  • Fractures
  • Ligament tears
  • Cast or splint issues
  • Cuts/lacerations
  • Workers’ comp injuries
