Warm Welcome from Southeast Wake and Northern Johnston Communities

August 16, 2013

On Monday, August 19, the WakeMed Garner Healthplex will open for patients at 7 am, and we think this picture of a rainbow over Air Mobile taken Tuesday night is a warm welcome to the neighborhood.

Free Pancakes!

Join us tomorrow (August 17) as we celebrate the grand opening of the WakeMed Garner Healthplex with a pancake breakfast from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.  If you are not able to make it out to the grand opening, see the building grow via time-lapsed photography.

Serving southeastern Wake and Johnston Counties, this new facility brings:

  • 24/7 emergency care backed by the county’s only Level I Trauma Center and Children’s Hospital
  • Outpatient imaging
  • Outpatient lab
  • New primary care, ENT and cardiology physician offices opening soon
  • 175 new jobs

The Garner area is a rapidly growing community, and we are excited to be growing with it!
