Kelly M. Squires is a pediatric Nurse Practitioner and her favorite part of being a pediatric provider is partnering with families to accomplish healthy goals. Her main priority is for families to feel they are heard and that their child is valued.

Kelly began her nursing career in 2011, where she worked as a clinical nurse in a variety of specialties in a hospital setting. While fulfilling her clinical hours, she cared for pediatric patients in the hematology/oncology, bone marrow transplant, and cardiac care units, and performed comprehensive physical examinations. She has an extensive background providing acute care to patients with chronic illness

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys sipping coffee at local cafes with friends, exploring the outdoors with her husband and dog, Owen, and traveling. Kelly has a passion for volunteering, and has volunteered as a nurse on several medical missions in Uganda, Peru and Kenya.

Care Philosophy
Kelly Squires says, "There is not a "one size fits all" solution, so together we have to find what works and what might not. My desire is that families walk away from our time together with confidence and a sense of empowerment in their child's health."
Clinical Interests
Kelly Squires manages a variety of health conditions related to rapid and excess weight that include prediabetes, high cholesterol (also known as dyslipidemia), non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). She is also a coordinator for the adolescent Bariatric Surgery program.

She is most interested in utilizing dietary modifications to treat chronic health conditions to let "food by thy medicine."
