Biography

Lynne Boyd joined WakeMed in 1994 and brings decades of cardiovascular nursing experience to the team. In her role as patient coordinator for WakeMed’s Structural Heart Program, Lynne helps patients who need advanced cardiovascular valve procedures (such as TAVR and MitraClip) prepare for surgery by navigating them through all the testing, appointments and paperwork required prior to their procedure. She enjoys working closely with physicians, patients and their families to ensure a seamless path to surgery and beyond.

Lynne earned her bachelor of science in nursing East Carolina University. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, teaching fitness classes and spending time with her family.
