The Appreciation Gala is a “thank you” event which recognizes donors in the Society of 1961.

The Annual Gala is one of the largest community-attended events in Wake County. Attendees of this highly anticipated celebration honoring our donors include community leaders, grateful patients, corporate partners, volunteers, and physician practices who support the WakeMed Foundation at the Society of 1961 level.

Donors who contribute $1,500 or more annually are recognized through membership in the Society of 1961, named in honor of WakeMed's founding year.

This is a passionate group of investors who believe the health and well-being of our community is of the highest priority. We are thankful for their trust, vision and generosity.
