Biography

Anais Joines is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with clinical interests in complex care management, treating and controlling chronic hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity and weight loss management. She earned her nurse practitioner degree from South University Savannah, GA and completed her nursing degree from Polytechnic College of Davao Del Sur in the Philippines. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Anais worked as a registered nurse in intensive care and medical-surgical units.

 

Anais believes in holistic care, integrating conventional and alternative therapies together to prevent, treat and manage disease, and to promote optimal health. Anais believes in patient and family centered care, where she and her patients can work together as a team, treating each other like family with open communication. Anais strives to develop a health care plan that works best and is attainable for her patients to be compliant and reach their health goals and prevent health gaps. Outside of work, Anais enjoys spending quality time with family, traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
