Physician Bio

Amy earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from East Carolina University and has worked in a variety of therapy settings. She now helps patients regain joint functionality and quality of life after sports injury or surgery on an outpatient basis. Though she works with patients of all ages (even as young as 7 years old), Amy has a special interest in helping student athletes successfully return to play. While working on her undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University, she served as a student athletic trainer for several of the school’s sports teams. Now, she treats many elementary, junior high and high school athletes. Her focus on helping students prevent future injuries has earned her the respect of many parents and coaches.
