Biography

Dr. Alexandra D. Bentley is a board-certified pediatrician.  Her special interests include following patients with a history of prematurity, brain injury, or other medical complexity. 

Dr. Bentley graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with her bachelor’s degree in biology, and earned her medical degree, cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  She completed both her residency in pediatrics and fellowship Special Infant Care at Duke University Medical Center.

She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and speaks English and conversational Spanish. 

Dr. Bentley is married and has three children, and she enjoys swimming.
