Each program is based not just on the patient's medical and rehabilitative needs, but also on his or her social, emotional and lifestyle needs.  The result is a personalized plan of care that focuses on maximizing each individual's independence and ability to live a meaningful life.  Our physical rehab programs are the most comprehensive in the state and include neurological rehab, orthopaedic and joint replacement, outpatient rehab, children's rehab and home care.

WakeMed Rehab includes a 84-bed rehabilitation hospital, the largest and most comprehensive inpatient hospital in the area.  WakeMed Rehab Hospital's goal is to help people rebuild their health, function and independence. The hospital provides patients with therapy as they incorporate daily living, home management, community access and adapted leisure activities.
