Interventional radiologists offer image-guided minimally invasive procedures to directly target the source of disease or pain. Interventional radiologists take advantage of advanced imaging technology to treat many conditions that once required open surgery. These advanced techniques offer less risk, less pain and less recovery time for patients as compared to traditional surgery.
