Internship
Intern units are offered three times each year. Extended units are offered in the Fall (August to December) and Spring (January to May). A full-time summer unit begins in late May and goes through mid-August.
All units require a minimum of 400 hours of supervised ministry.
Hospital-Based CPE
The hospital-based unit offers students the opportunity to provide spiritual care to patients, families, and staff within the setting of a major Medical Center. Students serve as the Chaplain for a specific clinical area in addition to on-call rotations and Saturday and Sunday assistance with spiritual care consults on a rotating basis. Students have the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary health care rounds with medical staff on their assigned clinical unit.
