The partnership puts several key WakeMed services and experts directly onsite in Cambridge Village. These services include:

WakeMed Physician Practices – Physical Therapy is an independent practice. Our therapists serve patients of all ages – children through seniors.

Fitness & Medically Directed Exercise Programs

WakeMed Healthworks Fitness & Wellness at Cambridge Village offers adults age 45+ an exercise experience that is friendly, safe and fun. Cambridge Village residents have free access to the facility. Fees apply for members of the public. Fees apply for residents and members of the public for medically directed exercise programs.

Safeway to Fitness

Safeway to fitness is a supervised group exercise program for adults who would like a structured, safe exercise experience. Graduates of cardiac rehabilitation programs, people recovering from certain procedure and adults who just appreciate the security of knowing that a health professional is present are great candidates for Safeway to Fitness.

Transitional Exercise

A supervised, small-group exercise program for individuals who have recently been discharged from physical therapy and are not ready to exercise on their own. The Transitional Exercise group meets for 1 hour 2 times a week
