Soarian Search Function Change

When you search for a patient, highlight patient from list and choose the "Patient Record" drop down option.  You will then choose Patient Record; Clinical Summary; Charting; Plan of Care; Orders; or Visit. 

There is no longer a bold black arrow to the left of the patient name.

10/27: H1N1 Mask Guideline Update

When to use an N-95 Mask
- If you are a pregnant or immune-compromised health care worker.
- When you are performing an aerosol generating procedures (such as bronchoscopy, intubation, open suctioning of airways). 
- If you feel more comfortable using an N-95, do so at any time.

When to use a Surgical Mask
Due to nationwide shortages, surgical masks can be used for routine patient care, with eye protection as needed. Surgical masks have been proven effective against the transmission of novel influenza
