Occupational Health Closed on May 30
The Raleigh Campus and Cary Hospital Occupational Health offices will be closed on Thursday, May 30, for staff to attend a workshop. A nurse will be on call with pager (919) 393-5807. Both Occupational Health offices will reopen on Friday, May 31, at 7 am.
Computerized Physician Order Entry Training Goes Online
Admission orders, transfer orders, discharge orders and daily rounding orders may be placed by qualified physicians/midlevels using Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE). Training for CPOE in Soarian has moved from classroom-based to a 38-minute video module available through the EPR Dashboard. Physicians/midlevels not currently using CPOE should watch the video and open a request with Information Services to gain access. You may open a ticket by calling the Help Desk at (919) 350-8700 or by email: helpdesk@wakemed.org.
