Stories. They're what WakeMed Children's is made of. They're what we're built on. But the stories are not about WakeMed. They're about something much bigger. The kids and families we serve. And care for. And heal.
Our story is actually thousands of stories, each with its own heroes-patients, physicians and caregivers. And villains-illness, disease and injury. We've made a deep commitment to always be there for the children of our community. Always.
That's why we've taken the step of building a new Children's Hospital that will increase our capacity, broaden our breadth and scope, add new services and specialties, and attract the very best specialists.
But we can't do it alone. We need our community to be integrally involved. By supporting this important initiative - the Just For Kids Kampaign - you're helping write the next story. And the one after that. And so on.
